ESF Consultancy Project in Romania 

 

In the course of a large scale project, financed by the European Social Fund (ESF), the Romanian Health authority,  and supported by the pro mente OÖ, basic guidelines and quality standards for the work with social psychiatric handicapped people will be defined.

The main aspects of the project are:

  1. A comprehensive evaluation of the situation in Romania.
  2. A matching between the possibilities and conditions in Austria and the actual situation and potentials in Romania.
  3. Specifying and describing the need for development by the Romanian project partner.
  4. Concrete measures for Romania must be elaborated, concepts formulated and standards defined.
  5. In three model regions in Romania (Bucharest, Cluj-napoca, Suceava) the elaborated measures will be tested.

 

The project duration is three years. The responsible organization from Austria is the pro mente OÖ, the project is coordinated by Herbert Paulischin.
